Dear IFMSA members,
I hope you are healthy, happy and taking care of yourselves in each corner of the world!
I am sharing with you an opportunity to attend the Online Launch of the “Researching Violence Against Health Care: Gaps and Priorities” Report done by our close partner ICRC and Elhra, a global charity that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation.
The launch of the report will take place on Tuesday 7 April at 13:30 GMT. Join to hear the findings of recent reviews which identify existing measures to address violence against health care and, critically, the key evidence gaps that need to be filled through rigorous research. You will need to register [here] for more detailed information on the online launch.
*Unfortunately, due to potential risks associated with Covid-19, this launch event will now take place online only.
For the past few years, IFMSA has not only acted actively in the Healthcare in danger Community of Concern but also strengthen our knowledge and capacities regarding violence against healthcare through multiple capacity building opportunities. We believe that continuous learning and working along ICRC and other NGOs will expand the possibilities for us to work on research and innovations. And this starts with you! I will be happy to organize another internal online discussion within our Federation after the launch to discuss what are the next steps of IFMSA on the topic of healthcare in danger..
Stay tuned for more exciting things ahead!
