|“Bioengineering and Medtech against Cancer”|
Free online short course
November 24 and 25, 2020
|Cancer is one of the main challenges in medicine and advances in recent years show that much of the solution involves an innovation model based on collaboration among scientists, engineers and doctors. With this in mind, the two-day online short course “Bioengineering and Medtech against Cancer” aims to educate the next generation of healthcare professionals and researchers, boost international projection of EU projects and create new collaborative networks with key experts from each area.|
This short course will include lectures, panel discussions and expert meetings analyzing and discussing the main hot topics in technology that will revolutionize healthcare and assistance for cancer patients.
A pitch session will allow 12 startups, potential entrepreneurs (at the proof of concept stage) and project holders working on cancer to pitch their work to investors and experts. Take this unique opportunity to get constructive feedback!
Plus, anyone who submits an abstract will have the opportunity to meet and pitch their project in private meetings with international VCs and corporates.
Confirmed VCs include Invivo Capital, Aurora-TT, Sanofi Ventures, Kurma Partners, Fund+, Caixa Capital Risc and Ysios Capital. More to come!
