Dear amazing SCOPEople,
Hope you are all doing just fine!
Hereby I would like to share with you an interesting and unique opportunity: to take part in a Small Working Group!
“Yeah, Gaby, sure… But… What is it??”Okay okay, let me explain… Small Working Group, or simply SWG, is a way for us to work together with people outside the International Team, with different opinions, experiences and ideas, to achieve our goals and objectives. This means that the SWG already comes with established objectives and a timeline.
“Do I have to work everyday?? Is it in person? Do I get paid?”It’s a no to all of those very common questions in the IFMSA world. In SWGs we usually have monthly online meetings (OLMs) or twice a month to discuss the work. After the first OLM, you will have the distribution of tasks, and you can schedule yourself according to your daily routine/lifestyle. You will not get financially paid, since IFMSA is an Organization where we all work as volunteers. However, you will for sure be rewarded with knowledge, friendships, making the change in SCOPE Exchanges and will receive a Certificate in the end 😀
Now I got your attention, right?
So, the SWG is on Global Health Education and E-Learning Platform. The main coordinator is Chaitra Dinesh, SCOPE External Development Assistant.
You can read the proposal here.
How to apply? Just fill in this google form (click!).
