This year has brought even more challenges and surprises. However, there is a silver lining in everything – CSW65 is happening virtually and therefore, the opportunity to participate becomes more accessible to many. I am hence happy to announce the call for passionate SRHR advocates to become delegates in this incredibly important event.

More about CSW65

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The CSW is instrumental in promoting women’s rights, documenting the reality of women’s lives throughout the world, and shaping global standards on gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Priority theme: Women’s full and effective participation and decision-making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls;

Review theme: Women’s empowerment and the link to sustainable development (agreed conclusions of the sixtieth session)
