Negotiating Multilateralism in a Changing World
25 AUGUST | 18:15 – 19:30In June 2019 the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution requesting Member States to negotiate a UN75 Political Declaration.

Member States negotiated and finalised the declaration at a time when COVID-19 was sending health and socio-economic shockwaves across the globe. It will be adopted on 21 September 2020 during a special General Assembly session to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations.
