Dear IFMSA members,
I’m back with another webinar organized by UNDRR (the UN office for Disaster Risk Reduction), which will be covering the aspects of public health systems in the Disaster Resilience Scorecard for cities and the use of this tool to strengthen public health resilience planning.
We understand that while no country is safe from the COVID-19 pandemic, it does not affect everyone equally. In order to reduce the impact, the capacity of public health systems is crucial. I enthusiastically invite you to join the webinar to learn from experts promoting systematic integration of health into national and sub-national disaster risk reduction policies and plans. As done for the previous webinar, I will also be sharing materials (if shared by UNDRR) used in the webinar through this same thread for members interested. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any more questions!
Best regards,
Tammy
